An 8 week program built into the 3 area high school's curriculum, Mount Abraham, Vergennes, and Middlebury. The first 4 weeks are dedicated to education where 4 volunteers from the areas of Law Enforcement, Medical, Family, and Recovery, will discuss their personal experience with the epidemic. The last 4 weeks of the program are dedicated to creating PSA's. The students will form groups and co-design, shoot, and edit a 30 second PSA which will then be entered into a contest and one PSA will be determined the winner, along with 2 runner's up.
The program was created and built by Jeremy Holm an Addison County community member and Hollywood film and TV actor as well as with Jesse Brooks the RPP and Volunteer Coordinator at United Way of Addison County.
