Who We Are
Everybody Wins! Vermont is a statewide literacy mentoring organization, founded in 2000. We help children LOVE to read to give them a better chance at a good life when they grow up. We match volunteer mentors one on one with elementary-school children to create friendships and read together one day per week during the school year over lunch at school. Pre-pandemic, over 600 volunteers read with children each year in Vermont and the Upper Valley of New Hampshire.
What We Do
Change a child's life in just one hour per week! Everybody Wins! volunteer mentors are matched with a child to read one day a week over lunch. Mentors create caring, supportive relationships with children that include reading stories aloud, playing games, and talking about their lives.
