Volunteer: Employability PanelMonthly meeting with Job Corps students, age 16-25, who are preparing to exit the program and need assistance with career transition. The panel would address workplace behavior, interviewing skills, financial independence, and housing issues. There would be a q & a session and mock interviews in a workshop format after the panel. Ideal volunteers would have been or are currently in the workforce, feel comfortable speaking with young adults, and potentially have a background in finance, housing, or one of our trades (Culinary Arts, Carpentry, Medical Assistant, Automotive Repair, Welding, Office Administration, Urban Forestry, Building Construction Technology).
