Are you looking to get outside and help your community during these warmer spring months? The Turning Point Center of Addison County is looking for volunteers to help restart their community garden. Has addiction touched your life in some way? Do you enjoy group discussions? The Turning Point Center is a peer-support organization, which means we rely on individuals with lived experience with addiction to support our visitors. We are always looking to train new group facilitators to lead small, intimate support meetings.

Has addiction touched your life in some way? Would you like to share a skill or passion with individuals in our recovery community to enrich their lives and strengthen their recovery? If you have an hour every week and are willing to lead a small, informal group activity, the Turning Point would be happy to help provide supplies.

Currently we offer Pottery and Arts & Crafts, but we would love to expand our recovery activities to topics such as writing, cooking, music, sewing, chess, etc....Let us know what you are passionate about and when you would be free to lead a group!
