Community Rides Volunteer Drivers provide an invaluable service for Addison County. Many residents (including elderly, disabled and low-income neighbors) need to access healthcare, food and critical services, but have no transportation and cannot use our buses. Volunteer Drivers play a crucial role in our organization by providing these rides. Volunteers must have 5 years of driving experience and be able to pass background checks. TVT reimburses for mileage at the government rate. As a volunteer, you tell us how frequently you would like to drive, and who you are comfortable transporting.
