To help protect our staff, customers, and the community at large, anyone visiting HOPE must wear a mask.
What We Do
HOPE is a private poverty relief organization serving Addison County, Vermont. Our current offerings include the largest food shelf in the county, financial assistance with rent and utility payments, help with medical needs, Project Real Job, and more. Our mission is: "To improve the lives of low income people in Addison County, Vermont, by working with individuals to identify and secure the resources they need to meet their own basic needs." Although we receive some grant funding for specific programs, we depend on private funding, as well as profits from our charity resale store, for our core poverty relief work.
