Who We Are

The Middlebury Skatepark Project is an all volunteer Middlebury based non-profit. We are teachers, students, artists, athletes, parents, community organizers, and above all skatepark advocates because we recognize the physical, mental, and social benefits that a safe designated third space will bring to our community. We aim to design and build a contemporary concrete skatepark that is free and open to the public, designed for all ages, all abilities, and all wheels.

What We Do

The mission of the Middlebury Skatepark Project is to develop a contemporary skatepark located in the heart of Middlebury, Vermont by galvanizing a broad coalition of individuals and partner organizations.

We envision a welcoming and inclusive skatepark of contemporary design built in the heart of Middlebury, Vermont, to promote physical, mental, and emotional health to a diverse community, especially youth.

As stewards of this facility we will provide a clean, safe, and fun environment for all wheeled sports. We will support programming to expand and enhance outdoor recreation in Addison County.

Our aim is to nurture a community that is healthy, vibrant and resilient. Our board of directors strives to create an environment within our organization that is accessible, supportive, inclusive and creative.
